As many of you know I'm all about the raw plants life, always trying to eat more raw plants. I especially like to eat low fructose fruits such as blueberries and strawberries. One issue I have with these berries is that they go bad very quickly, even when refrigerated, so I tend to keep my freezer stocked up with berries. Now that I'm living in manhattan it's tough to get any raw plants, fresh or frozen, but getting high quality raw plants at a good price is very difficult. Anyway, although I like to go organic (especially for berries as it's like 50% skin) I have found the "Wyman's" brand to be the best value in terms of weight per dollar. Also, the berries are much smaller, and there's something about the way that they are wild and natural that just makes it seem better than the huge, fake gmo berries. Also, I called up the company to ask if they use pesticides and stuff like that. The person told me they use it only when necessary (like pest infestation or something like that) and that the berries go through a hardcore washing and cleaning process between being picked and packaged. So that made me feel a little better about eating tons of nonorganic Wyman's berries, and after doing it for a while I have to say I feel pretty good.
