In this post I quickly want to go over the difference between using spyOn for methods of the object under tests and using spyOn to spy on methods of an object that is a dependency of the object under test. This is another post that's all about "testing one thing at a time" in your AngularJS unit tests by "using the real thing" for the object or method under test and using spyOn to fake rest.

SOLVED: Protractor-Cucumber-Framework Error: expected #EOF, #Language, #TagLine, #FeatureLine...8/14/2016 I seriously love using protractor-cucumber-framework, but it can be quite annoying trying to configure it perfectly, especially when you're doing it for the first time. I was having some trouble setting it up with my recent project, and decided to write a post about this specific error that I seem to run into often (hopefully that'll change soon! hehe) when adding this to my projects.
This past weekend my uncle Keith came up from Virginia. He's a Chiropractor, and while he was here he adjusted me. Afterwards, I realized that what he was doing was very similar to software testing!
I was on the beach in Atlantic City today reading an excellence tome a throwback from 2003(!). This book, Test Driven Development by Example, was penned by Kent Beck himself. In the first paragraph of chapter 25, "Test-Driven Development Patterns", he talks notes the difference between the word "test" and a verb and as a noun.
