I’ve been having this problem for a while, and I just figured out how to solve it. My problem was that I was getting and responding to so many text messages that it was just becoming bothersome. I didn’t want to have to keep looking over at my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4), grabbing it, typing in (or swyping in) my response. I know I sound super lazy right now, but it becomes a serious burden when you are talking to people who like to having “texting conversations” and you are getting multiple messages a minute. It was especially useful for me when I was at work (a relatively new job too) and felt kind of awkward with my phone on my desk breaking my concentration all the time to talk to my bitties. This not only makes it easier for me to respond without being distracted, but it also the higher-ups will never know that I am texting all day. Yeahoo!

Luckily, I found this cool app called MightyText. Just download the Android app on your mobile phone and sign in with a google account. Then you can visit the browser application (www.mightytext.net/app) to access your phone from your computer. Sign in with the same google account and you’re good to go. You can receive / send texts, see your phone’s battery life, edit your contacts, check out your photos / videos, schedule future texts, and even see the battery life on your phone. I wanted to be able to get and send texts from my computer, and MightyText let’s me do exactly that. Thanks MightyText.
