A huge part of getting a song right is having all the sounds at a balanced volume. If you have something in your app that is so quite you can't even hear it then there's really no point in even having that taking up a track a processing power and being there at all.
I this previous blog post I wrote about how you could use the Flex & Follow setting in Logic Pro X to change the bpm of audio files while keeping them in key. Welp, after doing some experimenting this is now my go-to method for changing the tempo of acapella vocals so I can lay them over a cool instrumental background of whatever remix I'd like to make.
When you change the tempo of your project in Logic Pro X it automatically changes any midi in your project to fit the new bpm. However, audio files by default will not change. However, you can make them change to follow the tempo changes, and in fact all you need to do is check a box for each audio track you want to follow the bpm!
