I was on a plane from Philly to San Francisco recently, and I had the time to watch (most of ) the course WebStorm Fundamentals by Shawn Wildermuth. I definitely recommend it to developers just getting started with WebStorm (and yes, WebStorm is the HTML / JavaScript / CSS editor I use most often, and yes in my opinion it is the best front-end IDE right now). This is a great course for getting up to speed with the inner workings of WebStorm. Although I did find myself yawning through the more beginner parts, there were some great nuggets of wisdom that I took from the course.

It is totally possible to create an Angular application, even a "large appliation", by only using one module. So why do we even have named modules in the first place, and when do you really need to use different modules?
I don't even remember how I stumbled upon this video, and the title "RxJS In-Depth" doesn't even seem like a fitting title. However, Ben Lesh provides a great explanation of Observables in JavaScript and advantages of using them over promises.
I was recently viewing the Pluralsight course Making the Business Case For Best Practices by Erik Dietrich, and I really found this to be an excellent slide. This is Erik's view of the common best practices in software development today, and in my descriptions below I'll try to explain how these ideas can be applied to Angular front-end development.
Last night I went to the "GothamSASS" meetup group event at the ThoughtWorks NYC office (which is awesome by the way) which was about Visual Regression testing.
